3rd Dose for COVID-19

Starting November 6, the following additional groups will be eligible to book their third COVID-19 booster dose appointment:
  • Individuals age 70+ (born in 1951 or earlier)
  • Healthcare workers who work in-person
  • Individuals who received two doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine or one dose of the Janssen vaccine 
  • First Nation, Inuit, Métis adults and their non-Indigenous household members
Important: Booster doses of the COVID-19 vaccine will be offered to these selected vulnerable populations if at least six months have passed since the last dose (the official document on the government website says 168 days; please visit the Ontario Ministry of Health’s website for more information).

Eligible patients can book their booster appointment through the Ontario Vaccine portal, Public Health booking systems and through select pharmacies. For more information and to book your appointment, please visit vaccine or
